inLab FIB
InLab FIB is the innovation and research laboratory of the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). The mission of inLab FIB is to innovate and transfer knowledge to society in the field of ICT, through the development of human talent and the undertaking of multidisciplinary research, development and innovation projects.
InLab FIB has extensive experience of over 30 years developing multidisciplinary ICT research and development projects, both in competitive calls (for national or European projects) and in contracts with companies or government bodies. Many of these projects are currently being implemented and have provided new solutions that have improved the competitiveness of the company or government body by differentiating the services offered to customers. Information on all projects undertaken in recent years can be found in inLab FIB projects.
The team are experts in data science and big data, smart mobility, knowledge engineering and services, cybersecurity, and modelling and simulation: digital twins.
