Description
The Virtual Innovation Laboratory for Modelling Architecture and the City (VIMAC) is a technological leader at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). It benefits from the most advanced technology and methodologies to carry out technological innovation projects in the following areas: architecture, heritage and urbanism, using digital systems of geoinformation, digital cartography, terrestrial laser scanner, studies and photogrammetry.
It is aimed at the development of maps, plans, 3D models and interactive applications, based on the processing of georeferenced, parameterized information that allows the visualization of historical, heritage, architectural and urban elements.
