RDLAB
The RDLAB of the UPC Department of Computer Science is a high performance computing (HPC) environment, with over 1,600 CPU cores, 200 TB of data and nodes with GPU Nvidia CUDA. An adaptive cloud environment for research and technology transfer projects (databases, repositories, web services, etc.). All of our services use free software and are operated by university staff.
The aim of the facility is in provide a safe and professional environment of ICT support for research and technology transfer in the areas of the sciences (AI, biotechnologies, simulations, graphics, etc.).
- Over 1,600 CPU cores and GPU nodes with Nvidia CUDA support
- High-performance parallel file system with over 200 TB
- High-speed internal data networks Ethernet 10 Gbit and Infiniband
- HPC environment with Slurm queue manager
- JupyterHub support and interactive computing
