HVOF Thermal Spraying Pilot Plant

Offering main image

The main aim of HVOF Thermal Spraying Pilot Plant is to develop new coatings that can expand the life of components and reduce the effect of the aggressive conditions that they are subjected to (tearing, corrosion, temperature, etc.).

This facility use a high-speed thermal spraying equipment (HVOF process) to obtain coatings (metal or metal-ceramic cermets), where material in the form of dust is introduced and sprayed at high speed above the surface of the component. Development of coatings that are resistant to wear and/or corrosion.
