Microscopy Laboratory - Besòs
Besòs Microscopy Laboratory has various electron microscopes (SEM, FESEM, TEM). Recently, it has benefited from a public infrastructure tender for ultra-high-resolution scanning electron microscopy equipment with high analytical capability (SXES, WDS-EDS, EBSD) and an in situ nanoindenter.
The aim of the facility is to provide services to public and private entities and research groups on the Besòs campus, mainly in the fields of materials such as plastics and composites, metallic materials, reliability of engineering materials, and biomaterials for the regeneration and/or functional repair of tissues.

- Wavelength dispersive spectrometer (WDS) detector
