Corrosion Testing Laboratory
The aim of the Corrosion Testing Laboratory is to asses the corrosion resistance and durability of metal products and coatings subjected to accelerated conditions that simulate long-term behavior. Determine the mechanisms responsible for corrosion deterioration processes.
The salt fog test chambers are designed to carry out accelerated corrosion tests by exposing samples to an artificial atmosphere: saline or saline-acetic.
Potentiodynamic tests are designed to make a scientific study of the corrosion phenomena (electrochemical test in a given environment).
