Description

The CATMech Acoustics and Vibration Laboratory covers 300 m² with equipment for applied research in the field of acoustics and vibrations. This infrastructure allows for theoretical and experimental studies aimed at noise and vibration control.

The research carried out at the laboratory spans areas such as mobility and architecture, seeking solutions to improve acoustic comfort and reduce the impact of vibrations. Projects include the analysis of vibration propagation, the design of isolation systems, and acoustic characterization in various environments.

This experimental and theoretical capacity facilitates the development of new techniques for noise control and vibration management, applicable to different industrial and urban sectors.
