Metrology Laboratory

The ETSEIB Metrology Laboratory specializes in the determination of surface roughness (2D and 3D), shape errors and dimensional errors of parts. It has several items of contact and optical equipment for the various measurements, and controlled ambient temperature. The floor of the laboratory is insulated from the walls and the rest of the floor of the building, so that potential vibrations do not affect the measurements.

The laboratory collaborates with the research tasks of the TECNOFAB Manufacturing Technologies research group, and with companies.
