Description

The Department offers: Investigations of compliance of chemical elemental composition of metal products with manufacturers' approvals investigations of chemical (elemental) composition by spectrometric methods and by means of EDS / EDX analysis. Evaluation of surface quality with digital reconstruction and SEM imaging methods evaluation of the causes of defects in structural and casting components. Studies of linear thermal expansion and phase transformations of metals and their alloys. Testing of hardness and microhardness. Reviews and studies of cast products with the possibility of their reproduction by reverse engineering methods and by means of selected casting methods.
