Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry
The facility includes different types of calorimetry and thermal analysis equipment, including thermogravimetry, DSCs, Calvet, isothermal, isoperibol and flow calorimeters.
These can be used to study a variety of:
- Systems, e.g., solids, liquids, biomolecules, living cells,
- Properties, e.g., heat capacities, enthalpies of dilution, mixture, and
- Processes, e.g., phase transitions, biological activity of microorganisms, protein folding-unfolding.
