TEC21;Biomechanics
The Biomechanics platform is dedicated to the study of mechanical interactions in biological systems, from cell, to tissue. The objects of study relate to biophysical phenomena such as adhesion, migration, cell growth and morphology, particularly in relation to fluid dynamics.
The platform has a set of tools available for characterisation of cell and tissue properties, rheology and imaging.
Applications: health, biomedical diagnosis, therapeutic tools.
