Description

The S.mart Grenoble Alpes cluster is a technological platform dedicated to Industry 4.0.

It is one of the 10 clusters of a national network which constitutes the major French scientific tool for Industry 4.0.

It leads a community of nearly 100 teachers and researchers, in particular by participating in the organisation of the national S.mart conference

It operates 5 high-level technological platforms in the field of virtualized design (CAD, simulations, PLM, etc.), of virtual and augmented reality, of rapid prototyping and metal additive manufacturing, but also of plastic, of robotics, of automated systems, of information systems for companies (MES, ERP, APS), of mechanical production, of machining centres (CU 5-axis), plastic injection, Laser cutting... A learning factory dedicated to industry 4.0 was also recently created. These platforms are at the service of around twenty laboratories, 16 engineering Schools, Faculties and Institutes, with Master's courses in Annecy, Grenoble, and Valence.
