3rd NGS, molecular sensing, lab-of-chip and microfluidic platforms in a unique fully integrated robotised platform able to process in BL2 to 4 safety environments
CTC is a state-of-the-art infrastructure of 4th generation (Lab 4.0), contributing to the digitization process in life sciences, aiming to be the first step for implementation of internet of living things in Portugal. CTC is equipped with 3rd NGS, molecular sensing, lab-of-chip and microfluidic platforms in a unique fully integrated robotized platform able to process in BL2 to 4 safety environments . The CTC integrated Automation, Flexibility, Speed and High throughput (up to 10.000 samples per day), allow full digitization and sample traceability customized for life sciences, ensuring more accurate results, reduced costs (OPEX), greater efficiency, better collaboration, scalability and traceability. Presently CTC is focused on research for integrated risk management and emergency response to biological threats.
