National Laboratory of Intense Magnetic Fields (LNCMI)
The LNCMI IS research infrastructure that welcomes researchers from all over the world for field experiments. At two sites, the LNCMI offers routinely static magnetic fields of up to 35 T at its Grenoble site (LNCMI-G) and pulsed magnetic fields of up to 90 T in a non-destructive manner (and 180 T semi-destructively) at its Toulouse site (LNCMI-T). In addition to the technical developments and own research that are carried out in the laboratory, measurement time is allocated to external researchers, whose projects are selected, after submitting a proposal, by a European Magnetic Field Laboratory (EMFL) committee joined with facilities in Dresden and Nijmegen.
