Description

The aim of the CARS Centre is to stimulate multidisciplinary research, training and technology transfer in the automotive and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sectors.

The complexity and rapid evolution of technologies applied to automotive and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) requires a heterogeneous set of skills, developed in different disciplines. Starting from this assumption, the CARS Centre aims to build, within the Politecnico di Torino, an environment in which multidisciplinary research and training activities can contribute to the creation of innovation and technology transfer, in an area with a strong industrial and entrepreneurial vocation that has been the cradle of the national automotive industry.
