Mission and Objectives
The mission of the UPC Park (Parc UPC), the Research and Innovation Park of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, is to be an innovation environment with a high concentration of knowledge and technology, aimed at returning value to society. Its specific objectives include: Creating an innovation ecosystem by providing infrastructure and services to companies and entities that are intensive in R&D&I. Becoming a socio-economic driver connecting the UPC, public administrations, and businesses. Promoting the UPC’s social commitment through research, innovation, knowledge transfer, and scientific and technological progress. Through these objectives, Parc UPC seeks to foster collaboration between the university, companies, and public institutions to promote social, economic, and cultural development.The mission is to encourage and facilitate the participation of research staff in research, innovation, knowledge transfer and technology projects. We also aim to enhance and promote research and technological progress in productive sectors through the transfer of results.
