Unite! Widening Workshops 3 & 4 @ULisboa - Knowing R&D Ecosystems +  Knowing Innovation Ecosystems

As part of the Unite! Widening Summer School @ ULisboa: Innovation & Training Days (14–16 July), two parallel thematic workshops will be offered, providing participants with focused and interactive learning experiences in key areas of innovation and societal transformation.

WS3 – For Researchers: Knowing R&D Ecosystems

This workshop is designed for researchers and explores Research & Development ecosystems, innovation pathways, and mechanisms for knowledge transfer. Participants will gain insights into how research is connected to innovation systems and how to strengthen impact through collaboration and strategic engagement.

WS4 – For PhDs: Knowing Innovation Ecosystems

Targeted at PhD students, this workshop focuses on innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and academia–industry collaboration. It aims to provide participants with tools and perspectives to navigate and contribute to innovation-driven environments.

⚠️ Important note:

WS3 and WS4 run simultaneously. Each participant may only register for one of these workshops and will not be able to attend both.

Both workshops are open to all participants and provide a valuable opportunity to engage with experts and deepen understanding of how research and innovation ecosystems operate.

Who should apply ? 

Researchers in different thematic areas PhD students, Post docs and Young researchers, Professors.
