Unite! Widening Training @ULisboa - Building Connections with the Innovation Ecosystem 

This 3-day in-person training targets PhD students interested in bridging academic research with industry and innovation ecosystems. It explores one guiding question: how can you position your research and skills to create impact beyond academia?

The programme includes networking opportunities, a convivial dinner, and visits to ISA Living Labs, offering exposure to applied innovation settings. Training will be delivered by international Unite! trainers and professionals from non-academic partner organisations.

Format : 3-day in-person training, combining presentations, interactive workshops, a study visit, and networking moments.

Who should apply ? 

PhD students interested in building meaningful connections with the innovation and industry ecosystem and to better understand how their research can create impact beyond academia.

  • Number of available slots for ULisboa participants: 6
  • Number of available slots for Wrocław Tech participants: 6
  • Number of available slots for each other  Unite! universities : 7 (1 per non-Widening Unite! university)
  • Number of available slots for other Widening university : 4

Participation & costs:
  • Participation is free of charge. Travel and accommodation are covered for participants from WrocławTech, following Unite! Widening rules and will be confirmed to selected participants. For other participants, travels costs can be covered via other schemes such as Erasmus+.

Application procedure : 

  • Deadline for applications will be May 31st.
  • All applicants will receive information about the status of their application by June 3rd.
