Financial compensation Most Erasmus+ traineeships, particularly those involving writing part of your thesis, do not lead to employment. Check with your host institute/supervisor to find out if employment is part of your traineeship and if it comes with a compensation. You should also ask your home university if you are eligible for Erasmus+ funding.
Short description

An Erasmus+ Traineeship at TU Graz is your chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment – right in the centre of Europe. Whether you want to deepen your expertise in the lab or work on part of your bachelor’s or master’s thesis, a traineeship at TU Graz is a great way to expand your academic and professional horizons.

Work closely with top researchers, live in one of Austria’s most student-friendly cities, and become part of a diverse and welcoming international campus community. Traineeships are tailored to your interests and arranged individually between you, your home university, and a TU Graz supervisor.

To begin, you’ll need to find a supervisor and a suitable project at TU Graz. Helpful tips and guidance on how to do this are available on the TU Graz website. Applications for the Erasmus+ Traineeship are accepted on a rolling basis. However, if you wish to obtain regular student status, admission is required and only possible within specific deadlines.

To be admitted as a student, the fully completed Learning Agreement must be submitted to the Exchange Coordinator at the International Office – Welcome Center by the following dates:

·         Summer semester: by mid-February

·         Winter semester: by mid-September

Additionally, all required steps in the application software Mobility-Online must be completed to finalize the admission process.

Only students registered as incoming students at TU Graz can benefit from the advantages of student status.
