Desired skills for candidates
- Pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Protection or similar;
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment preferred;
- Candidates will work with chemicals and must be able to follow safe work practices and protocols;
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Statistics software would be a plus: R GUI, Origin, Matlab etc.
Tasks and responsibilities:
-Design, manufacture, assemble and test bioelectrochemical devices;
- Test new bacterial species, enrich microbial cultures;
- Develop and test new materials for bioelectrochemical devices;
- Carry out electrochemical tests, analytical equipment;
- Process and analyze large datasets;
- Reporting (obligatory) in the form of PPT presentations, written reports;
