Games for Health (Blended Intensive Programme)
Join this Blended Intensive Programme, Games for Health (G4H), which represents a promising “tool" (medicine of the future) for the healthcare arena. Singular studies prove the benefit of G4H for specific application domains, and the socio-economic potential of G4H is high. Nevertheless, good examples are rare, healthcare practitioners are not aware of existing solutions, and there is a lack of education/training programs for collaborative, interdisciplinary development of “good” G4H.
The aim and learning goal of this Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is to provide an introduction to the complex field, characteristics and interdisciplinary development of G4H, and its use in healthcare (prevention and rehabilitation, body and brain).
The BIP is structured into three parts:
1. First, (online) talks will be provided to introduce the topic.
2. Next, networking and practical work (organised in groups) will take place on site for one week (five days) at TU Darmstadt, Germany.
3. Finally, a report is prepared by all participants, including results of the group work.
For details about how to apply, please read the section 'Further Information'.
