Rational Eco-design of electronics

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles of designing electronics with sustainability in mind. Students will gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of environmental impact assessment, exploring how electronic devices affect the environment throughout their lifecycle—from material extraction to disposal. In addition, participants will learn the essential principles and strategies for designing more eco-friendly devices, emphasising energy efficiency, material selection, and waste reduction.
