Environmental contaminants: become the experts (Summer School)
Environmental contaminants – What are their origins? How can their toxic potential be assessed? How can they be detected? Can all risks be predicted and controlled? Conduct an investigation with your project team and identify the risks linked to a real-life situation.
Program overview:
• Talks and discussions with experts from various fields (Introduction to the diverse environmental contaminants, Environmental epidemiology, Human and environmental health risks associated with plastic pollution, Health risks associated with environmental exposures, Capture and transformation of toxic chemicals in nanoporous material
• Workshops
• Team projects
• Visits to laboratories and private companies
This year, we will fund 2-3 motivated Master’s or PhD students from UGA partners, such as Unite! to attend our Summer School. Funding covers registration fees and mobility-related costs (transport and accommodation).
Language: The event will be held in English, and no technical knowledge is required.
When: June 22 to 26, 2026.
Where: Grenoble, France.
No technical knowledge is required, the selected students must participate in all of the training offered.
