Metallurgical Engineering and Technical Analysis of Lifecycle and Sustainability: M.E.T.A.L.S
Metals are essential for our modern way of life as well as the green energy transition!
After completing this independent, online course, you will be able to: recognise the role of metals in modern society, understand the role and impact of metals in the climate and ecosystems, recognise the local and global state of the metals resources, and identify the main metals production and their global economics.
Course modules include: the basics of where and how metals are used, why they are used in so many applications, origins, production, and why they’re so critical now. You’ll also dive into the reuse of metals and how to assess their environmental impact.
Assessment will be calculated via quizzes, learning diaries and discussion tasks.
