 udents like taking online courses that they can complete at their own pace
  whenever they want. At School of Chemical Engineering we run a few large 
 online courses with hundred of students. The approach seems to work well. 
 However\, the question how to effectively keep students engaged and motiva
 ted remains open. Academic Staff who teach online courses or are intereste
 d in developing online courses in the future can join this session. On the
  session we will exchange our experiences in online teaching and focus on
